NBA Daily Fantasy Advice Feb 6th

Thanks to the news of Dirk Nowitzki sitting AFTER lineups locked, on sites other than DraftKings we got a big Goose Egg. I feel the Mavs’ coach is a DFS player and baited everyone playing last night by waiting that long. Anyway, we have still won $1,500 on Victiv since last Friday so let’s start that winning train again tonight!

Suggested Plays for NBA 2/6/15:

Russell Westbrook- With the likelihood of Durant being out once again, Westbrook is almost a must-start tonight. He’s playing the Pelicans who he just torched for 45 points while playing 40 minutes and scoring 59.5 FP. I really like him to hit another 50 FP tonight.

D.J. Augustin- He’s coming off a days rest and I like his price on every site because his production has outweighed his salary as of late. He’s averaging only 18.5 FPPG (has been unreal since Josh Smith was traded) and he’s only played below his average once in his last 6 games (against 76ers which is an outlier). Denver has seemingly given up on the season and have already struggled against Point Guards by allowing 42.8 FP to the position this season.

Other PG Plays- Elfrid Payton, Marcus Smart, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, Mike Conley

Victor Oladipo- He draws a terrific matchup tonight against the lowly Lakers. He’s averaging 32.6 minutes a game while also averaging 27 FPPG. The Lakers have struggled mightily against Shooting Guards by allowing an average of 37.6 FP to the position. I’m looking for Oladipo to net us at least 35 FP tonight.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (if he plays)- He is a salary-relief play who should open up the lineup to some studs. He’s averaging 30.4 minutes a game and Denver has allowed an average of 39 FP to Shooting guards this season.

Other SG Plays- Kevin Martin, Khris Middleton

DeMar DeRozan- I love his matchup tonight against the Clippers who just got dominated by the Cavs and then cried like babies. 5 technical fouls, say what?! D-Squared (clever, I know) is averaging 32.7 mins a game and also 28.3 FPPG. The Clippers are giving up an average of 35.3 FP to Small Forwards and I like his odds to top 35 FP tonight.

Jeff Green- Green has a chance to dominate Minnesota and his mid-ranged price tag tonight. He is averaging 31.6 mins a game with 24.5 FPPG while the Timberwolves are giving up an average of 38.7 FP to Small Forwards. That’s nearly 8x his Fanduel salary if he hits that. He could be in store for a monster game tonight.

Other SF Plays- Gordon Hayward, Evan Turner, DeMarre Carroll

Anthony Davis- He’s expensive, but he has a great matchup against OKC who are giving up an average of 46.5 FP to Power Forwards. He’s getting 35.5 mins per game with 47.1 FPPG and could easily go for 60 FP tonight IF Durant is out once again.

Greg Monroe- Denver struggles against Power Forwards by allowing a massive 49 FP average and is averaging just under 30 minutes a game. I’m looking for Monroe and Detroit to dominate the Nuggets and play for 35 minutes and score 40+ FP tonight.

Other PF Plays- Chris Bosh, Paul Millsap, David West, Markieff Morris

Marc Gasol- This is a scary matchup if you are Minnesota. Gasol has been dominant all year by averaging 33.6 minutes a game and 37.1 FPPG. That.s 1.10 FP per minute and get gets to face the T-Wolves who are giving up an average of 50.5 FP against them by Centers! He could be the highest-scoring Center tonight.

Nikola Vucevic- He doesn’t have the best matchup on paper against the Lakers but he has been playing out of this world basketball this season and I could see him go off for 45+ FP tonight and put even more shame to the Lakers.

Other C Plays- Al Horford, Hassan Whiteside, Mason Plumlee, Roy Hibbert, Andre Drummond
