Jose Reyes went 2 for 4 Friday, leaving him 9 for 18 in his last five games against the Astros.

Brett Lawrie homered and is batting .381 over his last 22 games overall.

Robbie Grossman homered yesterday and had four RBIs, raising his average to .356 during a 10-game hitting streak.

Jose Lobaton may be back behind the plate since he's 9 for 17 (.529) with a triple, two homers and seven RBIs in five games. He had two hits, including a three-run homer, and four RBIs on Friday.

Chris Johnson is 9 for 17 against the Cardinals this season, and 2 for 3 versus scheduled St. Louis starter Shelby Miller (11-8, 2.98)

Andrew McCutchen has four hits in this series, upping his major league-best average in August to .451. His recent staggering production may only continue since he's batting .475 with 10 RBIs and 12 runs during a 10-game hitting streak versus San Francisco.
