Jacoby Ellsbury play of the day!



Pedro Alvarez is 1 for 2 VS Pettibone with a HR, and Alvarez is coming off one of the best months of his career, hitting .309 with an NL best-tying 10 homers.

Jacoby Ellsbury, who's batting .404 with seven RBIs and nine runs during an 11-game hitting streak. The speedy center fielder has also hit safely in each of his last nine interleague contests, going 19 for 40 (.475) with 10 runs and seven stolen bases.

Freddie Freeman is batting .433 with two homers and seven RBIs in his last eight home games versus Miami. Freeman is hitting .308 VS righties this year.

Jason Kipnis has been instrumental to the tear, batting .419 with 25 RBIs, 12 doubles and a .517 on-base percentage in 29 June games.

James Loney, is hitting .396 during a 12-game streak and is second in the majors with a .363 mark on the road. Loney is hitting .365 VS lefties on the year.

Hanley Ramirez is 11 for 30 with three homers and three doubles VS Oswalt. Ramirez is batting .477 with five homers and 15 RBIs over a 13-game stretch.

Josh Donaldson homered and doubled in a 7-5 win over St. Louis on Sunday, leaving him 10 for 21 with four homers, three doubles and eight RBIs in his last six home games.
