Mike Carp play of the day!

Michael Cuddyer is expected to play Thursday after missing five games with a ribcage strain. He's batting .395 with eight RBIs during a 10-game hitting streak.

Chris Davis is 5 for 10 with a double and a homer off him, and he's 11 for 24 (.458) over his last eight meetings against Boston. He's also homered in five of the last six games, driving in seven runs and scoring as many.

Manny Machado is batting .406 with nine RBIs over his last eight games agianst Boston, and he's 3 for 5 with a homer VS Doubront.

Evan Longoria is 5 for 12 with two homers VS Santana. Longoria is hitting .317 over his last 10 games and has homered in 3 straight.

Luke Scott is 8 for 21 with two homers VS Santana. Scott is hitting .429 on the year VS the Royals.

Adam Lind is 3 for 5 against Darvish and hitting .457 in his last 17 contests. Lind is hitting .319 VS righties on the year.

Jacoby Ellsbury is always a good play against righties and he has been on a tear as of late hitting .444 in his last 10 games with 14SBs.

Mike Carp is hitting .441 over his last 10 games with 3HRs and 10RBIs. Carp is also hitting .333 against righties on the year.

Daniel Nava is hitting .310 over his last 10 games with a HR and 7RBIs. Nava hits righties .320 on the year.
